In the fifth day of the month (which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin’s captivity)

The word of the Lord came unto Ezekiel the Priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans, by the river Chebar, where the [a]hand of the Lord was upon him.

And I looked, and behold, a [b]whirlwind came out of the North, a great cloud and a fire wrapped about it, and a brightness was about it, and in the midst thereof, to wit, in the midst of the fire came out as the likeness of [c]amber.
